Finished Size: Approximately 63-3/4 x 63-3/4 inches (lap size).

GENERAL DIRECTIONS
- All seams are 1/4" throughout.
- Press seams toward darker fabric after each step.
- Use either the full size templates to cut out the patches, or the rotary cutting instructions.
- Use the template diagrams for piecing each of the blocks together. Follow finished block diagrams for color placement of patches.
Rotary Cutting Directions:
- Cut 1 strip 3-7/8 wide from the black and blue. Cut 8 squares 3-7/8 inches wide from both colors; cut in half diagonally for 16 triangles of each color.
- Cut 1 strip 2 inches wide from the black and yellow. Cut 16 rectangles 3-1/2 inches long from each color.
- Cut 1 strip 3-1/2 inches wide from black. Cut 4 squares 3-1/2 inches wide.
Sewing Directions:
- Sew black and blue triangles together. Make 16 units (fig 1).
Sew black rectangles to yellow rectangles. Make 16 units (fig 1). Alternate triangle blocks with rectangle blocks making 3 strips (fig 1).
- Sew strips together to complete block (fig 2). Make 4 blocks.
