Learn to make quick and easy braided borders with no inset seams, using fabric scraps and the Braid Charm template from M&L Designs. Quilts will be shown. Cutting and piecing methods will be demonstrated. Students will finish a table topper or wall hanging in class.

TOOLS NEEDED
Rotary cutter and mat (a revolving mat is helpful)
Ruler at least 6 inches wide (like Omnigrid)
Fabric (see requirements below)
Thread
Sewing machine
Basic sewing supplies

PROVIDED IN CLASS
Appliqué shapes for embellishment.
Iron and ironing board.

FABRIC REQUIREMENTS
Light color 1/2 yd.
Medium color 1/2 yd.
Dark color 1/2 yd.
Contrasting color 1/2 yd.
